A BUSINESSMAN was arrested for alleged use of prohibited drugs in a village in Zamboanga City, a police official said Thursday.
Senior Inspector Danilo Tendero, Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) anti-drug task force chief, identified the suspect as Benjie Tomoay, a resident of Cristina Homes in the village of Talon-Talon, five kilometers east of the city.

Tendero said the arrest was made while the suspect, along with some of his friends, is having a pot session.
The suspect's friends managed to escape, according to Tendero.
He said they have recovered a plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.
Appropriate charges will be filed against the suspect, Tendero said.
