Martinez said the suspects, whose identities were withheld as investigation continues, were arrested Tuesday, the same day the teenager was found dead by her grandfather in the village of Dulian, north of Zamboanga City.
The victim, a freshman of Capisan National High School, bore multiple contusions and abrasions when she was found dead by her grandfather in a bushy area of Dulian village.
Before she was found dead, the victim went to a nearby spring around 5 a.m. Tuesday to take a bath.
Martinez said that one of the suspects was seen at the crime scene before the victim was found dead.
