PAGADIAN CITY -- Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) Director Edwin de Ocampo has ordered an investigation on the fabrication of fake documents in Zamboanga City.
De Ocampo's order came after his personnel arrested Thursday five people, including a woman, when they raided a house in the village of Sta. Catalina.
The raid was carried out on the strength of a search warrant issued by the court after the police uncovered that fake documents are being fabricated in the place.
Among the documents confiscated during the raid were application papers for membership with the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), De Ocampo said.
He said the raiding team also seized a computer set and printing materials, as well as several documents.
De Ocampo withheld the names of the suspects pending the outcome of the investigation.
He said there should be a thorough investigation on the case to determine the people behind the fabrication of such documents. (Bong Garcia)
