THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) announced it is currently implementing further enhancements in its online business name registration system.

DTI Regional Director Nazrullah Manzur said the undertaking started last Tuesday thereby affecting the online registration until such time it would be completed.

Manzur said processing of business name registration via its online facility at will only be available from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. during weekdays and whole day during Saturdays and Sundays.

“The online registration facility will be restored to its normal operation as soon as the systems enhancements have been fully implemented,” he said.

However, he said the over-the-counter processing of business name registration at any DTI field offices or at the National Economic Research and Business Assistance Center “goes on as usual.” (Bong Garcia)
