TWO alleged drug pushers were arrested and an estimated P50,000 worth of shabu were seized in the province of Basilan, a police said Tuesday.
Joint police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives conducted a buy-bust operation Monday night in Barangay Kaumpurnah, Isabela City, the capital of Basilan.

Isabela City police commander Superintendent Allan Nazaro identified the suspects as Kulot Sebastian, 18, and Hasim Adi, 26, both residents of Kaumpurnah village.
The suspects were nabbed at the residence of Amin Jaladi, also a known alleged drug pusher. Jaladi, however, was not around during arrest.
The authorities tagged Kaumpurnah as a drug-infested barangay in Isabela City.
