Binay visits flood-affected areas in Dapitan

VICE President Jejomar Binay will inspect Monday the damages brought about by the flood that inundated 13 villages in Dapitan City.
Binay will also distribute relief goods to the affected families.

Binay arrived Sunday in Dapitan City and stood as one of the main sponsors in the wedding of former Zamboanga del Norte first district Representative Romeo Jalosjos, according to Councilor Apple Marie Agolong.

Aside from Binay, Senator Vicente Sotto III and former Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri also arrived Sunday in Dapitan and stood as among the main sponsors in the Jalosjos's wedding.
Binay will visit the village of Ilaya, one of the villages submerged in water after incessant rains Wednesday evening.
Around 727 families are reportedly affected by the flood in the village of Ilaya. (Bong Garcia)
