Faith healer killed inside official's residence

A FAITH healer was shot and killed inside the residence of a village official in a coastal barangay east of Zamboanga City, the police said Friday.
The incident took place around 12:30 a.m. Thursday in Barangay Mariki, 1.5 kilometers east of the city, according to the Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO).

The police identified the victim as Said Masaysay, a resident of Lubigan village.
Masaysay was reportedly sleeping at the residence of Mariki councilman Hadja Nursia Hassan when shot to death by an unidentified gunman.
Hassan told the police that they heard more or less eight gun shots and when they verified, they saw the victim on the floor near the main door full of blood.
Investigation is being conducted to unmask the suspect, the ZCPO said. (Bong Garcia)
