Barredo, who is also the city’s Public Employment Services Office (Peso) manager, said the Jobs Fair will be held at Plaza del Pilar from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Companies and job recruitment agencies from Manila will be participating in the whole-day Jobs Fair in addition to 17 local companies, 15 national and six international placement agencies, Barredo said.
He said jobs such as company drivers, construction workers, nurses and other technical positions will be up for grab.
The city had initiated four jobs fairs last year that facilitated the hiring of 1,156 qualified applicants, earning for Zamboanga City an award as the 2011 Regional Best Peso Performer. (Bong Garcia)
