SIX drug users were arrested by the operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in a buy-bust operation in Zamboanga City, an official announced Thursday.
PDEA Regional Director Adzhar Albani said the buy-bust operation was conducted around 6 p.m. Wednesday along Gov. Camins Avenue, in the village of Camino Nuevo, north of the city.

Albani identified the arrested suspects as Jojaira Caingcoy, 29; Arleigh Antonio, 46; Candido Ebol, 42; Rommel Aragon, 35; Noel Tagata, 28; and Leo Patrick Cabatu, 35.
They were caught having a pot session inside the residence of the alleged drug pusher identified as Joseph Pamaran, where the buy-bust operation was conducted, Albani said.
However, Albani disclosed that Pamaran is at large as the latter managed to escape.
He said the PDEA agents have seized three small heat-sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, several paraphernalia for the use of shabu and P200 marked money of P100 denomination.
The suspects were detained while appropriate charges are being readied to be filed against them, Albani said.
