TWO bodies of suspected summary execution victims were found in separate occasions in an east coast village of Zamboanga City on Sunday, a police official said.
Police Station 6 commander Chief Inspector Elmer Acuña said further investigation is conducted to establish the victims’ identities.
Acuña said one of the two victims was found at Nurby Drive, Talon-Talon village, five kilometers east of the city on Sunday.
The victim, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds, was found naked and hogtied. A cardboard with “magnanakaw ako wag nyo tularan (I’m a thief, don’t be like me)” printed on it was placed on the victim’s chest. Seven spent shells and live ammunition of caliber .45 pistol were found near the victim’s body.
Acuña said the second victim was found around 7:20 p.m. Sunday at the grassy area in Gemelina Drive, also in the village of Talon-Talon.
The victim sustained multiple hacked wounds and was believed to have been killed somewhere else and then dumped at the said area, Acuña said. (Bong Garcia)
