THE Zamboanga City District Fire District (ZCFD) of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) is set to launch its own website.

Superintendent Dominador Zabala Jr., ZCFD fire marshall, said the website will be launched within a few days.

The website, www.bfp-zcfd.com, was created by Computer Engineering students of the Western Mindanao State University, said Zabala.

The site would contain information about the BFP, Fire Code of the Philippines, fire safety tips, and other important announcements, Zabala said.

The aim of launching a website is to inform the public about the agency through the internet, he added.

The ZCFD maintains seven fire stations and seven fire sub-stations covering Zamboanga City’s 98 villages. (Bong Garcia)
