‘Drug lord’ falls

GOVERNMENT authorities arrested a wanted person who is on the top of the drug “watch list” in Isabela City, Basilan province, the police reported Friday.
Amin Jalaide, who is allegedly the number one “drug lord” operating in Isabela City, was arrested around 11 a.m. Friday in the village of Kaumpurnah, Isabela City.
Jalaide was arrested on the strength of a warrant of arrest for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the Isabela City Police Office reported.
The arresting personnel have confiscated from Jalaide’s possession two packs containing at least 10 grams of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride), the police said.
