Saleslady unscathed in ‘boga’ attack-A A +A

THE police have arrested and detained a 24-year-old carpenter who allegedly shot a saleslady with a gas-generated combustion gun locally known as “boga” in Zamboanga City, the police said Wednesday.
The Police Station 7 said the incident took place around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in the village of Pasonanca, five kilometers north of the city.
Arrested was Romel Camacho, 24, a carpenter and a resident of Pasonanca village, the police said.
Camacho was arrested after Webilyn Humpa, 35, a bakeshop saleslady, reported to the Police Station 7 that the suspect shot her with the using a “boga” but missed.
The suspect is detained at the headquarters of Police Station 7 and appropriate charges are set to be filed against him, the police said. (Bong Garcia)
