Ex-convict found dead

AN EX-CONVICT who was known to be “notorious” was found dead in a west coast village in Zamboanga City, the police reported Monday.
The victim was identified as Elmer Bentain, a resident of Sinubong, west of the city.
The police said the victim was found by Elmer Pisan, a farmer.
Pisan reported to the police that an “unidentified male cadaver was discovered at the Mountain View,” Sinubong around 10:45 a.m. Sunday.
The victim has a gunshot wound on his back. The bullet exited in his chest, causing his untimely death.
Investigation is underway to establish the motive as well as the culprit who shot and killed the victim, the police said. (Bong Garcia)
