3 men hurt in blast

THREE men were injured in a bomb explosion early Wednesday in Zone 8, Lusville, Zambowood village in Zamboanga City, the police reported.
The blast took place around 12:35 a.m. Wednesday, the Police Station 5 reported.
The police identified the victims as Eddie Climaco, 46; Lowi Climaco, 18; and Diego Calago, 23. They are now in stable condition since all suffered only minor injuries.
Investigation showed the victims were asleep at the house of one Asadi Luna, a fisherman, when an unidentified man lobbed an improvised explosive device (IED) underneath Luna’s wooden house.
Responding personnel from the explosive ordnance demolition have recovered parts of the IED.
A thorough investigation is being conducted to establish the motive as well as unmask the suspect, the police said.
