Man found dead in San Roque village

A MAN believed to be victim of summary execution was found dead in a west coast village of Zamboanga City, the police reported Tuesday.
The Police Station 7 said the victim, who remained unidentified, was found dead around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday near a privately-owned firing range in the village of San Roque, Zamboanga City.
The victim was a male, believed to be from 22 to 25 years old, five feet in height, small built, brown complexion, and sporting a crew cut hair.
The victim was found dead with feet and hands tied, face wrapped with packaging tape and clad only in pajama, the police added.
Initial investigation showed that the victim was found several hours after a dark-colored car was seen near the firing range.
Police Station 7 commander Larry Domingo said the victim was believed to have been killed “somewhere else and dumped along the place.”
The victim is also believed to be a resident of another village of this city since no one in the vicinity know him, Domingo added. (Bong Garcia)
