3 'drug personalities' fall

POLICE authorities have arrested three "drug personalities" in a buy-bust operation in an east coast village in Zamboanga City.
The Police Station 6 reported that the buy-bust operation was carried out around 11:30 a.m. Thursday along Daisy Road, Guiwan village, 3.4 kilometers east of the city.
Nabbed were Romeo Saavedra, 50, Oscar Aquino, 47, and Sattal Asirin, 41.
The suspects were arrested after they sold a small heat-sealed plastic sachet of suspected shabu worth P300 to a policeman who pretended to be a buyer.
Confiscated from the suspects' possession were three other medium sized heat-sealed plastic sachet of “shabu” and prohibited drug paraphernalia, as well as P300 marked money, the police said.
The suspects were detained at the headquarters of the Police Station 6 while appropriate charges are being readied against them. (Bong Garcia)
