THE police arrested three suspected drug pushers, including one who yielded an unlicensed firearm, a top police official said. The fourth suspect, however, has managed to escape.
Superintendent William Gadayan, Zamboanga City Public Safety Company (ZCPSC) commander, identified the suspects as Erwin Cepe, 36, Sheba Taghoy, 29 and Rosanna Bustamante, 44.
Gadayan said Cepe was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 7:42 p.m. Sunday in the village of Sto. Niño.
Cepe’s companion identified as Rodel Ranara has eluded arrest since the latter run away upon sensing it was a buy-bust operation, Gadayan said.
Confiscated from Cepe’s possession were two small-sized plastic sachets of suspected shabu, P200 marked money, and a caliber .45 pistol.
Taghoy and Bustamante were arrested in a succeeding buy-bust operation around 11 p.m. Sunday in the village of Tumaga.
Confiscated from the possession of the two alleged drug pushers were two small-sized of plastic sachets of suspected shabu, Gadayan said. (Bong Garcia)
