A RADIO station in Zamboanga del Norte province was recently attacked by an unidentified man, according to a top police official.

Superintendent Joven Parcon, Dipolog City police commander, said no one was either killed or injured during the attack that took place around 12:50 a.m. Friday at dxKD, an AM station of the Radio Philippines Network (RPN).

Investigation showed that the gunman, who was armed with a caliber .45 pistol, repeatedly shot the wooden main door while the radio station’s security guard, Dennis Jarmin, was inside the office, Parcon said.

Jarmin described the suspect as five feet and two inches to five feet and three inches tall and was wearing a t-shirt and short pants, he said.

Parcon said they are looking into all possible motives to unmask the suspect’s identity.
