Couple stabbed to death in Zamboanga Sur

A COUPLE was found dead in a grassy area in a remote village of Zamboanga del Sur province, a police official reported.
Zamboanga Peninsula police spokesman, Senior Superintendent Nelson Eucogco, identified the slain couple as Nestor Lumosad, 52 and his wife, Myrna, 43, of Bibilop village, Midsalip town.
Eucogco said the couple, who sustained multiple stab wounds, was found dead around 6 a.m. Tuesday in a grassy area at Purok 4 in the village of Bibilop.
The last time they were seen alive was that they were walking on the way home after having drinking spree together with their friends Monday evening, he said.
Investigation continues to determine the suspects behind the murder. (Bong Garcia)
