Buy-bust operation nets drug pusher in Dipolog

A NOTORIOUS drug pusher fell into the hands of the authorities in a recent buy-bust operation carried out in Dipolog City, the capital of Zamboanga del Norte, a police official said Thursday.
Zamboanga Peninsula police spokesman Chief Inspector Ariel Huesca identified the arrested pusher as Jujit Olvis, 38, a resident of General Luna Street, Estaka village, Dipolog City.
Olvis is listed as the number eight target of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA in the region, said Huesca.
The suspect was arrested along General Luna Street, Estaka village, after she handed over a sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for P500 to an undercover policeman, Huesca said.
Confiscated from Olvis’ possession were six sachet containing suspected shabu with an estimated market value of P8,000, he said.
Also seized from Olvis’ possession were three units cellular phones, one brown envelope, one piece tin cover, one vial of lidocaine and the marked money, he added. (Bong Garcia)
