DAR personnel undergo LCMS seminar

PERSONNEL of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) have undergone a two-day Reorientation Seminar Workshop on the Web Based Legal Case Monitoring System (LCMS) in Zamboanga City.
DAR Regional Director Julita Ragandang said the seminar was held to familiarize the DAR personnel on the mechanics and operations of the LCMS.
Ragandang said the web-based LCMS was installed in the regional and provincial offices to provide for an automated reporting and monitoring of legal cases.
The LCMS program provides the DAR personnel easy access to information as the system enables them to efficiently keep track and to determine the status of legal cases, she said, adding it also enables the DAR to more effectively deliver agrarian justices to the stakeholders.
The DAR central office, to maximize the system use and to familiarize the users with its new features, has scheduled a series of re-orientation seminars and workshop nationwide.
The participants of the two-day seminar workshop held last week include DAR officials, legal and operations personnel from the regional and provincial offices. (Bong Garcia)
