Village watchman shot, wounded

A 35-YEAR-OLD village watchman was shot and wounded by a lone gunman on Monday in the vicinity of a pension house in the village of Canelar, Zamboanga City.
The police identified the victim as Melvin Francisco, a watchman (baranagay tanod) and resident of Sitio Lumiyap, Divisoria village, east of this city.
Francisco was shot and wounded by a lone gunman around 8:15 p.m. Monday near the Royal Pension house in the village of Canelar. (Bong Garcia)
