A COASTAL village of Zamboanga City has received P200,000 worth of laboratory equipment from the Department of Health (DOH).
The turnover of the equipment on Thursday, through DOH Zamboanga Peninsula director Dr. Teogenes Baluma, coincided with the unveiling of the newly-completed P1.1-million wellness center in the village of Mariki.
The laboratory equipment includes a dry over, a centrifuge incinerator, and a refrigerator, according to Baluma.
The equipment would boost the capability of the Wellness Center in the delivery of health services, Baluma said.
The Wellness Center will provide services such as immunization, Tuberculosis Directly Observed Treatment, Short-course, mother class and other health related services, according to Agbulos. (Bong Garcia)
