Gun attacks kill 1, injures another-A A +A

ONE person was killed while another was wounded and two others escaped unscathed on two separate gun attacks in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police said.
Zamboanga Sibugay Police Office identified the lone fatality as 66-year-old Alberto Bagor, while the wounded was 39-year-old Rowena Villanueva. Cesar Villanueva, 51, and Crisente Tamayo, 30, managed to escape unscathed, the police added.
The police said Bagor was shot by an unidentified gunman around 3:20 p.m. Thursday in Poblacion village, Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Investigation showed Bagor was standing in front of a gasoline station when the lone gunman appeared and repeatedly shot the victim.
Bagor was rushed to the Malangas Infirmary Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Villanueva, on the other hand, was allegedly shot and wounded by Jay Cudo, 28, around 7:10 p.m. Wednesday at Purok Pines, Sanito village, Ipil, the capital town of Zamboanga Sibugay province.
Villanueva was inside her residence together with her husband, Cesar, and her brother, Tamayo, when shot by the suspect, the police said.
The suspect is still at large, the police added.
