Lady inmate bolts jail-A A +A

THE police and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) have launched a joint manhunt operation in a bid to recapture an inmate who bolted from a jail in Zamboanga del Norte, the police reported.
The escapee was identified as Judith Anggo, 33, who is charged for attempted homicide, said Zamboanga Peninsula police information officer Chief Inspector Ariel Huesca.
Huesca said Anggo has bolted from the Zamboanga del Norte Correctional and Rehabilitation Center located in the village of Don Jose, Manukan town around 1:45 a.m. Monday.
The escape of Anggo was discovered when the duty jail guard conducted an inspection around 2 a.m. Monday.
Anggo managed to escape by destroying the barbed wire of the detention where the latter is detained.
The BJMP and Manukan police have immediately coordinated with the police in Piñan town of the same province to assist them in the manhunt for the fugitive.
Anggo is a resident of the village of Sta. Fe, Piñan town, the police said. (Bong Garcia/Sunnex)
