Gun attacks kill 2, injure 2-A A +A

TWO people were killed while two others, including a two-year-old girl, were wounded on two separate gun attacks in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, the police said.
Killed were Charlo Partosa, 39, and Nestor Lamdag, 52, said Zamboanga Peninsula police information officer Ariel Huesca.
Wounded were Emily Granton, 21, and her two-year-old daughter, Emaiza. Unscathed was Emily’s live-in partner, Jonard Ubod, 30.
Huesca said that Partosa was killed when an unidentified gunmen strafed the latter’s house around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday in the village of Balakan, Salug, Zamboanga del Norte.
Huesca said that Lamdag was killed when unidentified gunmen strafed his house and that of Ubod around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in the village of Dinuan, also in the town of Salug.
The gunmen were armed with M-14 rifle and caliber .45 pistols based on the empty shells recovered on the crime scenes, Huesca said.
Police investigation continues to determine whether the two incidents were related. (Bong Garcia/Sunnex)
