THE police are conducting an investigation to identify the motive of the gun attack of a food chain outlet in Pagadian City, an official said Wednesday.
Pagadian City police commander Superintendent Glenn Dulawan said he assigned two policemen to handle the investigation of the incident at the Jollibee outlet along the corners of Pajares Avenue and Jamisola Street in that city.
Initial investigation showed that two men riding-in-tandem on a motorcycle stopped near the food chain outlet and opened fire damaging the door and window glass panels and stair tiles around 1:20 a.m. Monday.
The suspects, who were armed with caliber .45 pistols, have fled towards Pulmones Street of the same city.
No one was killed or injured during the incident, the police said.
Dulawan said he ordered his men to look at all possible motives in the conduct of investigation to unmask the suspects.
He said he strengthened the conduct of security measures in a bid to prevent a repeat of the incident.
