Capitol employees receive service award-A A +A

ZAMBOANGA City Mayor Ma. Isabelle Climaco-Salazar has conferred Service Award to 22 employees who rendered service to the local government for the last 25 years in an awarding ceremony late Friday.
The awarding ceremony was held at the Centro Latino Convention Center at the scenic Paseo del Mar.
Each of the 22 employees received a 14-karat gold ring and a tribute book as a token for their commitment, hard work, and dedication that exemplify the core values of Civil Service.
The awardees are the following: Orlando Abarabar, Domingo Biliran, Jr., Josephine Mangila, Pilar Muta, Jocelyn Saavedra, Rogelio Ramos (who recently passed away), City Health Office; Marieta Alvarez, City Social Welfare and Development Office; Esmeraldo Andico, Jr. and Luis Narag, Jr., Office of the City Environment and Natural Resources; Dr. Elmeir Apolinario, and Norberto Julian, City Administrator’s Office; Mario Bucoy, Virgilio Piniones, and Plaridel Ricaforte, City Treasurer’s Office; Jose Lindon Cadelinia, General Service Office; Rolando Cristobal, City Agriculturist Office; Edwin de la Cruz, City Human Resource Office; Luis Allan Ebojo, City Assessor; Capistrano Espinosa, City Treasurer’s Office; Argen Fernando, City Veterinarian Office; Donald Recinto, City Engineer’s Office; and, Flordeliza Yusop, City Mayor’s Office.
Salazar has thanked the awardees for their dedication and commitment to government service having served the past 25 years.
The service award is a special award launched in 2008 to recognize the efforts of the City Government employees.
A total of 492 government employees were conferred with the Service Award since 2008.
