ZAMBOANGA CITY Administrator Antonio Jr. has reminded adult individuals to secure the necessary permit from his office before they would go on caroling.

Orendain issued the statement barely six days before the caroling season which is set to start on December 16 and end on Christmas Eve, December 24.

He said that civic groups, schools, and other organizations are among those required to secure caroling permit which is issued free.

The city administrator added that in applying for permit, the carolers must indicate in the application letter the places where they will go caroling as well as where the money will be used.

Children carolers are not required to secure permit from his office, Orendain said.

Caroling is a tradition every Yuletide Seasons wherein carolers go from house to house singing Christmas songs. In most cases the carolers are given money while some receive in kinds or token. (Bong Garcia)
