Burglars ransack phone shop-A A +A

UNIDENTIFIED burglars have ransacked a mobile phone shop and carted away close to P100,000 worth of gadgets in downtown Ipil, the capital of the nearby Zamboanga Sibugay province.
Ransacked was the Little Bear Cellphone shop situated along Quirino street in the village of Poblacion, Ipil municipality.
The suspects have gained entry to the establishment by destroying the ceiling of the store and also used it as their exit, the police said.
The police said the incident could have taken place Thursday night but was only discovered the next day by the owner and workers.
The owner, whose identity was withheld, said the suspects took away 50 units of assorted mobile phones, five units tablet gadgets, and three wrist watches with an estimated value of closed to P100,000.
Investigation continues in to identify the suspects, the police added. (Bong Garcia)
