11 hurt on separate accidents-A A +A

ELEVEN people, including two children, were injured in two separate vehicular accidents in the provinces of Zamboanga Sibugay and Zamboanga del Norte, the police said.
The first incident took place around 7:10 p.m. Monday along the national highway in Barangay Monching, Siay, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Injured were Ronnie Alivio, 25, a motorcycle driver, and his back riders Johan Bajo, 17; Aldren Alonso, 17; and Rene delos Santos, 23.
The police said the victims were aboard a motorcycle on the way to Log Pond village in Siay coming from Nazareth in the same town when they accidentally crashed on the railing at the side of the road.
The second incident took place around 8:20 a.m. Tuesday along the national highway of Poblacion East village, Salug, Zamboanga del Norte.
Injured were Roldan Amad, 23, a motorcycle driver, and his back rider Armando Amad, 35; Rey Partosa, 38, also a driver of another motorcycle and his back riders Cris Lumata; 24; Marlyn Adog, 22; Al-Cris Lumata, two; and Chrislyn Lumata, seven-day-old baby.
The police said that Partosa and his passengers were traveling from Liloy town to Salug municipality when the Amads accidentally bumped them while traveling on the same direction.
Both Partosa and Amad, as well as their respective back, riders were injured, the police said. (Bong Garcia)
