Investigation showed the victims were fishing aboard three motorized bancas when six gunmen onboard three motorized bancas arrived.
Dela Llana said the gunmen herded the victims in one motorized banca and opened fire.
He said the Ambasalis were rescued and taken to the hospital by another group of fishermen who passed by the place of the incident.
Investigation continued Thursday in a bid to establish the identities of the gunmen, said Dela Llana.
