Ipil road mishap kills 1, hurts 3-A A +A

A MAN died while his wife and three children were wounded when a passenger bus bumped the motorcycle they were riding along Zamboanga-Pagadian Highway.
The accident happened around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday along the highway at Purok Bougainvilla, Barangay Tiayon in Ipil town, the Zamboanga Sibugay police reported.
The police identified the fatality as Johnny Tuburan, 29, who was the one driving the motorcycle.
Wounded were Tuburan’s wife, Rosenie, 20, and their three children aged two, one and three months old. They were admitted at the provincial hospital.
Investigation showed that Tuburan was driving motorcycle with his wife and children as his back riders when accidentally bumped by a passenger bus of the Rural Transit Mindanao Incorporated driven by Felix Largo, 47, the police said.
Both vehicles came from Poblacion village and travelling on same direction, the police said, adding that the bus bumped the motorcycle when Tuburan suddenly turned left without using the signal light.
Largo voluntarily surrendered to the authorities after the mishap, the police added.
