Gunmen rob used clothing dealers

THREE gunmen have carted away close to P100,000 in cash and valuables when they held-up dealers of used clothing in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police reported.

The Zamboanga Sibugay Police Office (ZSPO) said the incident happened around 11 a.m. Friday along Magsaysay Street, in the village of Poblacion, Ipil, the province’ capital.

The victims were identified as Jayson Miñosa and his wife, Rosemel, Aida Petracorta all residents of R.T. Lim town and Allan Ramon of Tungawan municipality, the police said.

The police said the victims were at their respective stalls when three youngsters armed with caliber .45 pistol appeared and declared the heist.

Taken from the Miñosa couple were P34,000 cash and two mobile phones while Petracorta lost P30,000 and a mobile phone and Ramon lost P1,000, the police said.

A thorough investigation is being conducted to determine the suspects’ identities, the police said. (Bong Garcia)
