Cops on retrieval ops survive sea mishap

A GROUP of policemen based in an island east of Zamboanga City survived in a sea mishap off the city.

Chief Inspector Nonito Asdai and his men were on their way to retrieve cadavers of fishermen found floating in the seas when their motorized banca capsized after they were battered by big waves, the police said.

The incident took place around 4:25 p.m. Saturday at the high seas of Sacol Island, east of the city.
