Held-up and robbed were Hamlen Ancheta, 22, the account officer of Katipunan Bank-Ipil branch and the LBC Express Dipolog City branch, the police said.
The police added that Ancheta was divested of P45,000 by three motorcycle-riding gunmen around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday along the national highway in the village of Salip Yasin, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Investigation showed the victim was driving motorcycle coming from Cainglet village in Kabasalan when blocked by the suspects after he made a U-turn upon reaching the highway of Sali Yasin, the police said.
One of the suspects took the victim’s backpack containing P45,000 cash at gunpoint and sped away aboard a black motorcycle with license plate JL-5059, the police said.
The LBC Express Inc., located along the corners of Gen. Luna and Garcia Streets in Central village, Dipolog City, was robbed of P190,000 cash on Wednesday, the police said.

One of the personnel, Desiderio Gutierrez, was already outside waiting for the branch manager, Kim Ladera, and another employee, to come out when the suspects barged into the courier firm office, the police said.
When inside, one of the suspects at gunpoint herded the employees to the stock room where they were ordered to lie flat on the floor while the other ordered the manager to open the establishment’s vault, the police said.
The suspects escaped aboard a motorcycle fled bringing with them the loot, the police said.
