Fire destroys P7-M properties in Dipolog

AT LEAST P7 million worth of properties went up in smoke in a fire incident in Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte.

City Fire Marshal Richard Timosa said the incident happened around 12 midnight Saturday along General Luna Street, Barangay Central.

Timosa said the fire started at Benles arts and signs and rapidly spread to the adjacent commercial buildings.

He said the fire, which reached second alarm and lasted for about two hours, was extinguished by firemen from Dipolog City, Dapitan City and from the municipalities of Katipunan, Polanco and Roxas.

There were no reported casualties.
