THE Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is making the preparation for the conduct of survey to update its data for the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) in Zamboanga Peninsula.
DSWD Assistant Regional Director for Operations Consejo Usman said the household survey will be made simultaneously nationwide during the first quarter of this year.
Usman said the DSWD has allocated P50 million funds to employ more than 1,000 enumerators to go on a house-to-house survey.
She urged the public to cooperate, citing the survey result is important since it serves as the basis for the national government agencies to identify and come up with programs to help the poor.
The regional office of the DSWD survey will cover the provinces of Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga Sibugay and Zamboanga del Sur and the cities of Dapitan, Dipolog, Isabela, Pagadian and Zamboanga.
