Task force strengthen anti-human trafficking campaign

SEMINARS and trainings on anti-human trafficking are being conducted in villages in Zamboanga Peninsula.

The Sea-Based Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force is facilitating the activities in partnership with Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Philippine Center on Transnational Crime-Western Mindanao Field Office head Chief Inspector Alexander Lorenzo said they want the village officials to know how to detect and prevent cases of human trafficking in their respective villages.

The Tumaga village in Zamboanga City has been identified as the pilot area of the campaign. (Bong Garcia)
