Guingona said the remaining amount of the appropriation will be utilized in health and education programs of the City Government.
He said the approval of the supplemental budget is in support to the programs of Mayor Ma. Isabelle Climaco-Salazar on security, health and education (SHE).

Guingona said the P80 million allocations for peace and order program will be used to construct police outposts and to purchase radio communication equipment, vehicles, speedboats and other needs of the local police.

The speedboats will be utilized by the local police force to patrol the territorial waters of the city to thwart the entry of lawless elements here.

Salazar earlier distributed radio communication sets to the different villages to boost communication in support to the peace and order program of the city.
