PMA sets entrance exam-A A +A

THE Philippine Military Academy (PMA), the country's premier military school, is set to hold its annual entrance examination on Sunday, August 3, in the different parts of the country.
Army's 1st Infantry Division Public Affairs Officer-in-Charge Captain Franco Suelto said there are three designated testing centers within the area of jurisdiction of the Army division.
These are: Iligan National High School, Iligan City+ADs- Congressman Hilarion Ramiro, Jr. Gymnasium, Ozamis City, Misamis Occidental+ADs- and+ADs- Western Mindanao Command (Westmincom) headquarters, Upper Calarian, Zamboanga City.
The entrance examination will cover algebra, geometry, grammar and composition, reading and comprehension, verbal and numerical reasoning and pattern analysis, said Suelto.
He said the qualification to take the entrance examination are the following: natural born Filipino citizen+ADs- physically fit and of good moral character+ADs- single and has never been married nor pregnant nor have a legal obligation to support a child/children+ADs- at least high school graduate+ADs- no administrative/criminal case+ADs- and must pass the PMA exam, should be between 17 to 21 years old not later than 01 April 2015+ADs- and, height requirements is 5 feet to 6 feet and 4-inch tall for both male and female applicants.
He advised walk-in applicants to bring their completed PMA application form, NSO-certified birth certificate, 2x2 ID picture with white background, Transcript of Record for College graduate or level and Form 137 for high school graduates and two pencils number 2.
He added that the applicants also are advised to be at the testing centers at 6 a.m. on Sunday, August 3.
