Zamboanga development council amends investment program budget

THE Zambonga City Development Council (CDC) on Wednesday, May 31, amended the 2018 component of the 2017 to 2019 Local Development Investment Program amounting to P4.232 billion.

The previous LDIP budget is around P2.9 billion.

Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar, who chairs the CDC, said the council approved the: appropriations for infrastructure (capital outlay), P1.741 billion, equipment amounting, P488 million, maintenance and other operating expenses, P952 million, and, personnel services, P1.049 billion.

Salazar said that under the plan, the general services will account for P1.379 billion, followed by social services with P1.375 billion, economic services P1.159 billion, and other services P319,203 million.

The LDIP is the basic document that translates local plans into programs, projects and activities, which were identified in consultation with the different sectors in the city. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)
