De Ocampo's office has 11 police stations under its jurisdiction covering the entire city of Zamboanga, which is composed of 98 villages.
He said the security measure will be done to prevent any group of lawless elements from committing atrocities during the conduct of commencement in schools in Zamboanga City.
De Ocampo met with the local education officials and requested them to furnish him schedules of commencement exercises in all schools so that the police can provide the needed security personnel.
Thousands of students are graduating in the different elementary schools in the city, including the national high schools in downtown area and in the villages. (Bong Garcia)
