He said Manxon decided to put up a branch in Zamboanga City after weeks of survey, studies and evaluation made by its officials and representatives in key cities in Mindanao.
Alavar, who is into seafood business, said there are four reasons the Manxon officials have chosen to invest in the city.
These include the fact that Zamboanga City is the center of trade and commerce in Western Mindanao; the people are business friendly; the local government has good fiscal management; and the city is the most peaceful place in the region.
Alavar said the investment by Manxon will certainly provide job opportunities and contribute additional revenues to the local government. (Bong Garcia)
