Two-day golf tournament set

THE Zamboanga Golf and Country Club is holding a two-day golf tournament in Zamboanga City.
The tournament, dubbed as the Board of Directors Cup, is scheduled to be held from January 28 to 29.

Zamboanga Golf and Country Club incoming president lawyer Quirino Esguerra Jr. said the tournament will have five divisions - Class A; Class B; Class C; Seniors; and Guest Divisions.
The two-day tournament will be Full Handicap Play-Best 18, Esguerra said, adding that the tee-off time is from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
Esguerra said the first day of the tournament will be followed by fellowship cocktails at 5:30 p.m. which is set to be held at the Zamboanga Golf and Country Club.
The induction of the new set of officers will be held at Marcian Garden Hotel at the close of the tournament's second or last day.
To be inducted are: Esguerra, president; Kenneth Lee, vice-president; secretary, Dr. Henry Ratag; treasurer, Henzon Que; auditor, Joenas Suazo; and the board of directors, namely Raymond Padayhag, Rey Leonardo “Chito” Vasquez, Dr. Noel Arquiza and Romy Urian.
The awarding of the winners in the different divisions will be held after the induction of the new set of officers, also at Marcian Garden Hotel, Esguerra said.
