Netizens mourn death of ex-senator Santiago

Netizens expressed their sadness over the death of the feisty and fearless senator who lost her battle to lung cancer.

One user said it's a sad day for the Philippines as the country lost a brilliant leader.

Another described Santiago as the "best Philippine President we never had."

Santiago lost her two-year battle with lung cancer.
