Citizens' role urged in anti-terror drive

TASK Force Davao (TF Davao) has urged citizen's participation in their anti-terrorism campaign.

TF Davao spokesperson Captain Mario Tena said on an interview Saturday that in line with their chief's command to raise awareness of Dabawenyos, they are encouraging people to report any suspicious act or person.

"Our chief has encouraged the participation of the residents as we have been conducting [fora] and seminars in schools as well as barangays here," Tena said.

This would be a great help to our strengthened checkpoint and random operations, Tena added.

TF Davao has also provided hotline and cellphone numbers which are closely monitored 24/7 so the people's response would be accommodated. Those with concerns may can contact telephone number (082) 224-0911 or mobile numbers (0919) 998-3386, (0917) 305-7826, and (0935) 484-4865.
