Jollibee opens 18th branch in CDO

THE most popular Filipino favorite opened another food shop here, a welcome development to patrons and visitors.

Jollibee Food Corporation opened in the busiest market in Cagayan de Oro City on Saturday, October 1. It is the 18th company-owned food chain in this city, located near Cogon public market, along Osmeña Street.

To date, Jollibee now has 113 branches in Mindanao.

Father Pedro Sombilon led the blessing of the newly-opened store.

City Mayor Oscar Moreno led the ribbon cutting ceremony together with special guests, namely: Ana Aluyen, regional business unit head for Jollibee Mindanao; Leslie Domingo, operations director of District 1 Jollibee Mindanao; Mike Matias, engineering head and Benjamin Yap, store development manager.

Jollibee made the toast extra special for everyone by using the chicken joy toast instead of using the typical glasses that are being served for a toast.

Disney-inspired mascots surprised guests with a special performance. Every mascot represents the best-sellers of Jollibee. They have Mr. Yum for its burger, Hetty for spaghetti, Popo for french fries, Twirlie for sundaes and Jollibee for Filipino dishes.

The store opens from six in the morning to ten in the evening. The store can accommodate 150 customers at a time.

Jollibee has been known for its crispy chicken joy, mouth-watering yum burgers, french fries, delicious spaghetti and more dish that won the hearts of every Filipino.

Customer satisfaction has always been their key to success, said Jollibee officials.

It was in 1991 that they had their first store opened in Limketkai commercial complex and added more stores year after year. Now on its 25th year in the industry, the company has gone their way to be the most loved food store in the country. From humble beginnings, Jollibee is known as the largest multi-national food chain.

"Jollibee has become very popular. In Virginia (USA), I was surprised kay naa diay Jollibee didto. I am thankful that you're here in this City", Moreno said in his message.

“This is Cagayan de Oro City. This is your City. This is your Jollibee City,” he added noting that the store’s opening is always a good opportunity for the city. With the opening of its store, Jollibee hired 70 shifting crews.

The Jollibee Cogon branch also offers a good promo for every customer. For every purchase of their menu line-up, a customer may win a prize.

The Jollibee Go Juice Raffle Promo Part 2 notes that for every purchase of any value meal or breakfast Value with Go Juice upgrade, customers will get a raffle coupon for a chance to win more than one million worth of gadgets to be given away.

The promo runs from October 1 to November 30, 2016.
