A 33-YEAR-OLD drunk man ran amok in Carmen last Sunday afternoon and was shot to death by his drinking buddy whom he earlier stabbed.
The incident happened in Sitio Baucan, Barangay Sac-on.
PO3 Roger Delan, investigator, said Jonas Martel Bueno approached Joselito Benitez Lumen and tried to pacify his neighbor. Irked, Lumen reportedly grabbed a pair of scissors and stabbed Bueno in the body.
The suspect left, came back with a gun and shot Lumen four times: in the back, face and twice in the head.
Before that, Lumen and Bueno were drinking the whole day at the store of the victim’s mother.
The two later had an argument over Lumen’s mauling of bakeshop employees Roberto Aresco Butanas and Junrey Colonia Pontillas, who were delivering bread to the store.
Lumen also broke the bakeshop’s delivery van’s windshield, then took the P725 earnings and the cell phone of Pontillas.
Bueno possibly used a revolver because the investigators failed to find any empty shell in the crime scene.
Delan said they are preparing a murder complaint against Bueno.
In Minglanilla, a 20-year-old woman who just came home from work was shot dead by an alleged drunk in Barangay Tulay, Minglanilla last Sunday morning.

Rubas pulled out a .45 caliber pistol and started firing at Guinocor and Gerames. Guinocor was hit in the head. Gerames sustained numerous gunshot wounds.
